An Arlington-based management consulting firm has been tapped by state officials to handle the investigation of the Virginia Tech shootings. TriData Corp. will provide research and staff support to Virginia Governor, Tim Kaine, and a panel recruited to investigate the handling of the incident.
TriData is best known for studying safety issues, and have previously been involved in studies for the Federal Emergency Management Agency regarding police and medical response into the Columbine shootings. The firm has also provided analysis reports on the aftermath and response of the anthrax scare in 2005.
