Robert A. Yungk, 50, is to join Mercer Human Resource Consulting as President and Global Head of Mercer Health & Benefits, it was announced today by M. Michele Burns, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Mercer Human Resource Consulting. Yungk will take up his assignment at the end of February. He succeeds Bernard Morency who retired in 2006 after more than 30 years of service with Mercer.
Yungk joins Mercer from Tenet Healthcare Corporation where he has served as the Senior Vice President, Managed Care, since 2003. In addition, he is the Chairman/President of TCI, Inc., one of the largest independent Medicare Advantage Health Plans in the country. He also serves as a board member of Peoples Health Network.
