Dining Out The publishing universe and restaurant-critic profession lost a giant when R.W. Apple, Jr., died in October.
The New York Times veteran, renowned for his political coverage, "News Analysis" articles, and, more recently, his wonderful writing on fine dining, left behind a tasty morsel in his wake: a lengthy article detailing some his favorite restaurants around the world.
The article — "The Global Gourmet," available in the Times archives — contains several options consultants might consider when they are seeking to entertain and/or impress clients and prospects with delicious, thoughtful, and not necessarily astronomically expensive eateries in select European, Asian, and South American countries. Here's a sampling of Apple's list of restaurants abroad that would be worth boarding a plane to visit:
| Location | Restaurant |
| London | Wilton's |
| Buenos Aires | Avenida Caba |
