Dame Sue Street, described by some as one of the most influential women in Whitehall, has held senior roles across several major Government departments during her civil service career, and was appointed a Permanent Secretary in 2001. In addition, she spent three years as a management consultant in private practice in the mid-1990s.
Her role at Deloitte will include advising on the Government's public sector reform agenda, bringing expertise, insights and value to our clients in the public and private sectors. Dame Sue will work closely with Head of Government and Public Sector for Deloitte, Mike Turley, and with Heather Hancock who runs the firm's Public Policy business. Her focus will be on strategic support to Deloitte's public sector leadership, and in an advisory role with clients.
