(July 24, 2006) - New York, NY - Mercer Oliver Wyman announced the appointments of Joel M. Shaiman and Scott Robinson as Directors at the firm.Robinson will be a member of the Corporate and Institutional Banking practice and focus on expanding the firm's presence with clients in the capital markets arena.
 
Shaiman has over 20 years of experience as an advisor to financial institutions and brings deep expertise in asset-liability strategy, asset allocation, derivative strategies and corporate acquisitions. He spent 16 years at BlackRock, Inc., and was a Managing Director for the last 10 years. Robinson career experience extends to capital markets, the energy industry, and information technology/operations, as both a consultant and a practitioner. Most recently, he was the head of Corporate Development at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Prior to the CME, he was a Partner at McKinsey & Co, where he helped launch the Business Technology Office (BTO).
