(July 5, 2006) – Washington, D.C. – Watson Wyatt announced that it has acquired Briggs & Sands, a boutique sales effectiveness and compensation consulting firm. Executives at Watson Wyatt say the purchase of Briggs & Sands in Rancho Mirage, Calif., gives the Arlington-based company a stronger global presence in sales management and compensation consulting. All three Briggs & Sands principals — Ted Briggs, Scott Sands and Clinton Gott — will join Watson Wyatt.
