IBM Corp. has formed a new management consulting practice to help companies better manage their research and development (R&D) strategies and spending.
The new consulting practice is now operating in the Americas and Asia-Pacific regions, and will expand to Europe later in the year. IBM management estimates that R&D management consulting is a $8.2 billion non-IT consulting opportunity, growing at 12.6 percent annually
