RSM Names New SVP

RSM McGladrey Business Services has appointed Bob Gerardi as senior vice president of total quality management with the firm's enterprise marketing and strategy group. The move reflects RSM McGladrey Business Services' commitment to marketing as the organization the largest accounting and consulting firm to midsized companies continues to grow. Gerardi's career includes stints at Duke Energy, a Fortune 500 company based in Charlotte, N.C., where he led both brand operations and business development efforts around new technology that spurred the company to become the leading U.S. investor-owned utility developing broadband access via power lines. He also spent eight years in various senior-level marketing, business strategy and product development positions with global technology giant Xerox and six years as a systems engineering manager with General Electric. Gerardi holds a bachelor's of science degree in electrical engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology, a master's degree in electrical engineering from Syracuse University, and a master's degree in product development from Rochester Institute of Technology.
