Buck Consultants Hires Two Senior Consultants

(April 6, 2006) – Peter Weinberg and James Ferreri have joined Buck Consultants in senior consulting positions. Weinberg has joined Buck Consultants' Chicago office as a Principal in the HR Management consulting practice. Weinberg has an international background, having worked in South Africa, the UK, Ireland, and the U.S. He has both corporate and consulting experience, having held CEO, CFO, and COO roles with publicly traded companies before entering the consulting arena ten years ago. Weinberg most recently served with Towers Perrin as Senior Technology Practitioner of its HR Delivery Solutions practice in the central region. His expertise includes global HR and systems strategy, HR transformation, change management, business process re-engineering, HR service delivery, and vendor analysis. Weinberg graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa. He is a member of the South African Society of Chartered Accountants, the Public Accountants and Auditors Board (South Africa), and the Project Management Institute. Ferrari has joined Buck Consultants' St. Louis office as a Principal and local Retirement practice leader. Ferreri joins Buck from Hewitt Associates. He led the Retirement and Financial Management practice in Hewitt's St. Louis office and served as business development leader for the Midwest. Ferreri's expertise includes retirement plan design, financing, M&A issues, administration, and communication. He also consults on retiree welfare and multiple employer plan issues. Ferreri is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, a member of the American Academy of Actuaries, and an Enrolled Actuary. He received his bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Economics from Illinois Benedictine College.
