Huron Consulting Group Files Registration Statement for Secondary Offering of Shares

Huron Consulting Group Inc. (NASDAQ: HURN), a leading provider of financial and operational consulting services, today announced it filed a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) relating to a secondary offering of 4,000,000 shares of its common stock by HCG Holdings LLC. HCG Holdings LLC also will grant an over-allotment option to the underwriters to purchase up to an additional 600,000 shares. The Company will not sell any shares nor receive any proceeds from the sale of shares by the selling stockholder in this offering. All expenses of the selling stockholder associated with the offering, other than underwriter discounts and commissions, will be borne by the Company. UBS Investment Bank, William Blair & Company, and Deutsche Bank Securities are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering and Robert W. Baird & Co. is acting as a co-manager. A registration statement relating to these securities has been filed with the SEC but has not yet become effective.
