Perot Systems Taps Transformation Expert

Perot Systems Corporation has appointed technology consulting veteran Sally M. Herbert to lead the company's enterprise resource planning (ERP) and high-end business and technology architecture consultancies. In her new role as head of the company's Consulting Solutions unit, Herbert will work closely with Perot Systems chairman of consulting and noted management strategist and author James Champy. They will help customers forge tighter alignment of their business and technology strategies and tactics to take advantage of the advanced technologies and global delivery capabilities offered by Perot Systems.

The appointment comes as the information technology services industry is experiencing stepped-up demand for technology consulting, a key strategic area of focus for the company.

Herbert joins Perot Systems from EDS, where she was global leader and vice president of four consulting-based organizations. Prior to her work at EDS, she served as a partner with Deloitte Consulting where she spent 21 years specializing in business transformation, enterprise applications, and financial services industry solutions. She holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Mississippi and is a certified public accountant in Mississippi and Texas.
