It might take him a decade or so, but Seth Hall is determined to run a marathon in every state. The eLoyalty senior consultant has five down. Just 45 more to go!
Hall, 26, who was a member of his high school track team with his twin sister, started running again when he got his first consulting job at Andersen Consulting. He started gaining weight. "You eat out all the time and eating big meals. It's a very tough lifestyle and you're not in a routine." Although he enjoyed working out, the extensive traveling made scouting out local gyms difficult. "Running focuses me much better," says Hall, who runs about five times a week. "I get a lot of thinking done." Hall is not sure if every state even has a marathon, but that won't stop him. "If that's the case, I'm just going to do the 26 miles anyway," he says.
