Alliance with Washington, D.C.-based consultancy designed to enhance services to defense-industry suppliers
Global consulting firm AlixPartners announced yesterday a strategic alliance with Cypress International, a Washington, D.C.-based consultancy specializing in helping industry support the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and other federal government departments and agencies. The relationship is designed to combine Cypress International's deep understanding of business opportunities in the defense and related sectors, coming from subject-matter experts consisting primarily of former senior professionals in all branches of the U.S. military and other high positions, with AlixPartners' strategic insight and deep operational-improvement expertise in order to offer enhanced services to the defense industry, at a time when new realities—including new defense threats and current DoD budget constraints—present new challenges as well as new opportunities in the aerospace and defense industry.
