Trinity is currently celebrating its 20th year in business. Dave Fitzhenry, Managing Partner at Trinity Partners sat down to discuss the firm’s financial performance.
Consulting: What were the main factors that contributed to your firm’s growth?
Fitzhenry: Throughout Trinity’s 20-year history, we have strived to create a culture of smart and motivated people committed to delivering exceptional work for our clients. From an internal perspective, we hold ourselves to high standards for recruitment, training, and retaining our people to support the continued growth of our business. Our strong positive work environment allows individuals to grow and sustain long-term careers.
Consulting: How is this year shaping up for your firm?
Fitzhenry: 2017 has been an exciting year for our firm already, as we are celebrating the 20th anniversary of its founding and are on track to continue the annual double-digit growth that we have experienced each year since. This year has also seen our largest ever headcount increase of 25 percent as we’ve continued to hire talent across all of the core areas of the firm. Our headcount has expanded across all of our offices.
Consulting: How would you describe your firm’s outlook for 2018? Where do you see the most opportunities?
Fitzhenry: Trinity is on pace to exceed our aggressive growth plan and increase organic revenue by over 20 performance. We attribute this growth to our continued investment in innovation, excellence in execution across all of our offerings, and a blue chip client base that continues to lead the life sciences in novel product development.
Consulting: What would you say are your firm’s biggest challenges in 2018?
Fitzhenry: Our vision is to lead transformation in the life sciences industry, guiding our clients with strategy and insights that support the development and delivery of life changing innovations to patients around the globe. Our biggest challenges go beyond 2017 and focus on managing rapid growth while retaining a vibrant culture of innovation, which is core to Trinity’s focus. We plan to double our existing business in the next five years, have more than 300 professionals, be a global presence, add senior expertise and capabilities and, make a difference in our community.
Consulting: What does being named one of Consulting‘s Fastest Growing Firms mean to your firm, your employees and your clients?
Fitzhenry: For Trinity, being named one of Consulting’s Fastest growing firms is incredibly exciting for us, as it provides validation that the continued investment in our firm and our people is making a true impact to the industry. This type of recognition helps build our strong reputation among our current client base and will help drive new business. In addition, we believe it will help in our recruiting efforts to attract talent eager to be part of this continued growth trajectory.
