FTI Consulting announced that it has acquired CDG Group, a restructuring advisory, turnaround management, value enhancement and transaction advisory firm based in New York. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
As part of the deal, 19 professionals, including five Senior Managing Directors, will join the Turnaround and Restructuring practice within the Company's Corporate Finance & Restructuring segment in the New York Metro region.
The addition of these professionals will further enhance FTI Consulting's top restructuring position in North America by strengthening the firm's company-side and interim management capabilities, says Michael Eisenband, Global Co-Leader of the Corporate Finance & Restructuring segment at FTI Consulting.
