Impact Advisors continues its run as a perennial powerhouse on the Best Small Firms to Work For list, moving up two places from last year to No. 4 on this year’s rankings.
Andrew Smith, President of Impact Advisors, says that each day, Impact Advisors is committed to living its mission to create a positive impact with clients, as well as with fellow associates (aka “Winners”).
“Being recognized by Consulting magazine as a Best Small Firm to Work For confirms we are demonstrating our mission in a meaningful way to those we serve and inspires us to continue our journey,” Smith says. “Our employees take exceptional pride in working for a Best Small Firm. Their collective feedback to the survey is what made this prestigious recognition possible for Impact Advisors again in 2017.”
In addition, Smith says the firm’s healthcare clients join in celebrating this recognition as well, knowing the experts serving them are thought leaders, industry experts and highly engaged and motivated to contribute to their organizational success.
A differentiator for Impact, Smith says, is experience, with the firm’s associates averaging more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare sector. “Their expertise is leveraged daily to help our clients solve some of the most strategic and complex problems,” he says. “Relying on our experience and a network of peers and mentors, we develop solutions that allow our clients to achieve, and often exceed, their goals. The shared practice of these values equate to a uniquely special workplace, as well as an ideal client experience.”
That experience will certainly come in handy as Impact Advisors will continue to assist clients as, specifically the ones that have implemented their core enterprise technology solutions and are asking, “What’s next?” The next phase, Smith says, will be to harvest the information out of these systems to radically optimize the delivery of care. The infusion of information into the healthcare delivery process is of tremendous importance.
“This will be a key differentiator in creating a unique patient experience,” Smith says. “We will continue to innovate our services to meet the market demand and are developing and delivering services around digital transformation, patient and consumer experience, business intelligence and analytics.”
On the survey, Impact excelled in the areas of Career Development and Culture. Career Development is a clear priority for the associates from Day 1. “During our orientation process, each ‘Winner’ is inspired to dream of what they want their professional development plan to look like for the coming year and encouraged to review their plan with their coach,” Smith says. “We hire bright, motivated professionals who are passionate about healthcare and technology.”
Q&A: How would you describe morale at your firm?
Smith: “The combination of client satisfaction, caring and firm transparency epitomizes our culture and defines our morale. Our firm’s morale continues to be exceptionally high because our ‘Winners’ consistently exhibit strong and sincere determination in their daily work. This translates into meeting and exceeding our clients objectives. As we celebrate achieving our clients goals, we experience personal satisfaction and happiness. We genuinely care about each of our associates and our clients. We are transparent in every aspect of our business and we encourage open dialogue and creative thinking and solutioning.”
