Shweta Srivastava is a Manager in PwC’s Health Industries Advisory practice and focuses on leading healthcare clients through strategic, operational program design and technology implementation efforts.
Ask her what excites her most about her career, and she’ll say the opportunities are endless and something can be learned from every experience. “I am constantly amazed at the speed and quality of results that can be achieved by simply bringing the right people to the table,” Srivastava says. “I am lucky to be in a profession where my perspective on complex issues is both valued and appropriately challenged by the diverse group of experts that I get to work with on a daily basis.”
She says she is fortunate to be surrounded by a group of inspiring leaders at PwC who have gone above and beyond to sponsor her growth and career progression, both personally and professionally. “My husband, also a consultant, and family members are my biggest cheerleaders.”
Srivastava has consistently been a top performer since she joined the firm in 2011, quickly earning three promotions over the course of just five years. Her passion for making a positive impact on patient care fuels her drive to be a change agent in some of the most challenging healthcare environments.
“I’m most proud of the initiatives that I’ve had the opportunity to lead, alongside my peers, as they relate to fostering an environment of diversity & inclusion in the healthcare space,” she says. “This is an important topic that PwC continues to promote and is in line with the strategic direction that many of our clients are navigating towards.”
As far as the Rising Star award, she says she is “grateful to be able to represent my firm and amazing project teams through this recognition, without whom I would not be where I am today,” Srivastava says.
