Slalom Excellence in Strategy Consulting Age: 30
When Kyle Roemer was starting out at Slalom, he got the opportunity to advise on an important strategy project for a large tech company. It was in an area that was unfamiliar to him so he had to get up to speed quickly. The team delivered a compelling strategy, he says, that was viewed as the “best outcome” the company had seen compared to similar past engagements. The engagement resulted in massive changes and direction at the client and propelled Roemer into new roles that wouldn’t have transpired without that project.
“The autonomy I’m given at Slalom, which is available to every employee, allows me to think big and create new offerings and direction for our practice, Roemer says. “That’s been a major contributing factor to my success here. Roemer is currently the practice leader of Slalom’s 40-person Information Management & Analytics team and has been instrumental in growing High-Tech accounts in the San Francisco office.
