Consulting: What were the main factors that contributed to your firm’s exceptional growth?
Travis: Focus: Trindent is focused on the Energy, Financial Services and Healthcare sectors. We are highly specialized so that our clients get the best service they deserve. Two, approach: Trindent is methodical, specific and practical to every business challenge. Our solutions don’t need capital expenditures. We guarantee a one-to-one return on investments so clients have no downside risk. Three, sustainability: We embed ourselves amongst clients’ front-line managers and employees to help them implement. We don’t leave without ensuring clients are able to sustain results. Four, team: Our people solve very complex business problems. Our people are front and center in making it happen. We employ the brightest, most experienced talents. Our culture is supportive and collaborative.
Consulting: How is this year shaping up for your firm?
Travis: 2016 has been another successful year. We’ve surpassed our targets in our 3 market sectors: Energy, Financial Services and Healthcare. We have added Business Development and Operations Executives to our Leadership Team who bring familiarity and experience in foreign markets. This has allowed us to better focus on our growth efforts in these markets. We are clearer than ever that our vision is to be the consulting firm of choice for very complex business problems.
Consulting: What’s your firm’s outlook for 2017? Where do you see the most opportunities?
Travis: We will continue building on the firm infrastructure—all functional processes from business development, operations, finance, marketing to HR. We will continue developing talents, acquiring new clients and servicing our existing clients. We’re excited to open our Hong Kong office at the beginning of 2017. This will allow us to hire local talent and serve clients more closely in Asia-Pacific.
Consulting: What would you say are your firm’s biggest challenges in 2017?
Travis: The biggest challenge lies in how to scale a business fast. We’ve been able to meet demands and deliver high quality work. Our clients have total trust in us. We don’t sacrifice quality for quantity. The biggest challenge to scale is recruiting local talent to service our foreign clients. We are addressing this challenge by customizing our recruitment process to better align with the market-specific recruitment approach. Having an office on the ground in Hong Kong will also make substantial improvements in this area.
Consulting: What does being named one of Consulting’s Fastest Growing Firms mean to your firm, your employees and your clients?
Travis: We are honored to be named one of Consulting’s Fastest Growing Firms. Thanks to our clients and employees, we’ve grown to where we are now. The award is recognition of the best in class service we provide, the best in class talents we have. It also encourages us to get better.
