Consulting: What were the main factors that contributed to your firm’s exceptional growth?
Toops: Clerestory’s 40 dedicated, full-time, Change Management consultants uniquely position the firm to contribute to the success of our clients’ mission critical projects. During the past 13 years we have been on the frontline of a shift in buyer sophistication. Consulting: How is this year shaping up for your firm?
Toops: 2016 is on pace to be Clerestory’s best year ever. The year should mark another year of 45 percent revenue growth. Internally we have invested in expanding our recruiting and organization development staff. This internal investment has yielded results in the numbers and sophistication of our staff members.
Consulting: What’s your firm’s outlook for 2017? Where do you see the most opportunities?
Toops: Clerestory’s client base and relationships, combined with the increasing rate of change, keeps repeat clients coming back for more services. Additionally, new client companies allow us to expand the firm to new industries and geographies. We have applied change management to implementing custom operational solutions for Fortune 50 to 1000 clients who are training new skills, consolidating, expanding, restructuring, replacing systems, and undergoing widespread transformation. Our methods are powerfully applied at any intersection of people, process, and technology where significant change takes place.
Consulting: What are your firm’s biggest challenges in 2017?
Toops: Clerestory’s challenge is to grow quickly, but selectively, by hiring experienced consultants who are strategic thinkers and are also passionate about achieving client goals through implementation.
