Excellence in Financial Services
Alicia Chin is passionate about finding new and innovative solutions to the ever-growing issues that clients are facing. One of her favorite aspects of being in consulting, she says, is that every client and project is unique and requires a different approach.
“There is something especially exciting and rewarding about being a part of a whiteboarding session on a new project, where you get to bounce new ideas off one another and collaboratively present the solution,” Chin says.
According to colleagues, Chin is a leader. She has built an impressive following: clients want her on their projects and look to her for guidance; people want to be on her team, learn from her and get her career guidance. She’s been a coach for 10 years and currently coaches several people and has guided many more to success in their careers.
“I’m most proud of the growth and success of the people I’ve mentored and coached. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work with many bright, young, motivated individuals,” Chin says. “I feel that I’ve been successful in recognizing potential in these employees—helping them to develop as consultants and encourage them to identify and pursue their goals. From personal experience, I know how important it can be to have the support of coaches who want to see you succeed.
Chin credits those mentors and coaches for her career success thus far. “If it wasn’t for their dedication to helping me achieve my goals, I would not be where I am in my career today,” Chin says. “I attribute the success I’ve experienced in my career and personal life to the guidance and support of these individuals.”
