According to the Management Consultancies Association (MCA), a representative body for the management consultancy industry in the UK, over a quarter of consultants amongst MCA member firms in the UK are now classified as "digital consultants".
Digital consulting has indeed been growing strongly, both in revenue and employment terms, and many consultancies say that when it comes to digital consultants, they can't hire fast enough to meet demand. Nonetheless, I question whether digital consultants truly make up more than a quarter of all consultants.
