Search "Harlem Children's Zone" online and you'll get some 127,000 hits with nearly all of them praising the project for its "ingenuity," as "one of the most ambitious social-service experiments of our time." President Obama also praises the Harlem Children's Zone as the standard to improve children's lives and points to it as the model for creating "Promise Neighborhoods."
