Andaz Wall Street, the only hotel located on Wall Street in New York City, opened in January. Andaz, the latest brand unveiled by Hyatt, is devoted to providing “an innovative hospitality experience, simplified, spot-on service and indulgent amenities for its guests,” Hyatt officials say.
The 253-room, 13-floor property will debut with introductory room rates of $275 per night. The property also offers wireless Internet throughout the hotel. Starting at 345-square feet, the rooms at the Andaz Wall Street are some of the largest guest rooms in all of Manhattan, according to Hyatt officials.
The Andaz Wall Street is Hyatt’s third property under its new Andaz brand. The other two hotels are the Andaz Liverpool Street in London, which opened in November of 2007, and the Andaz West Hollywood, which debuted in January 2009. A fourth Andaz property will open next month when the Andaz San Diego makes its debut in the property currently known as the Ivy Hotel.
The opening of the Andaz Wall Street is the first step in the brand’s expansion into New York, Hyatt officials say. A second New York hotel, Andaz 5th Avenue, is slated to open later this year.
