China's Suzhou Marriott Hotel Opens Property offering room rates of $116 per night through March 31

In January, Marriott Hotels & Resorts opened the doors of the Suzhou Marriott Hotel. The property is offering guests a special rate of $116 a night for deluxe room accommodations, free internet access and breakfast buffet for two. The introductory rate is valid through the end of March.

The 302-room Suzhou Marriott Hotel is the 10th property to be flagged under the Marriott Hotels & Resorts brand in China and will operate under a long-term management agreement between Marriott International and Suzhou New Development Investment Co., Marriott officials say.

The property is located in the new high-tech development zone, adjacent to Suzhou government and administrative service center, near the Suzhou International Expo Center and China-Singapore Suzhou industrial park.Rooms include a flat-screen television, ergonomic chairs, high-speed internet access and a full-sized desk for business travelers. The executive lounge is located on the 48th floor and offers city views, while a 24-hour fitness center, indoor pool and full-service spa round out the offerings.

The new property also  offers three specialty restaurants featuring international cuisine and local favorites. Man Ho is the Suzhou Marriott’s signature restaurant, serving Cantonese and local dishes, fine French wines and Chinese liquors. The restaurant also has five private rooms with personal hostesses designed for small parties.

In addition to the newly opened hotel, Marriott’s portfolio in the city also includes the 380-room Renaissance Suzhou Hotel. A third addition, 267-room Courtyard by Marriott Suzhou is currently under development and is expected to open later this year.
