Scott grew up with a business mentor in his father who taught him that strategically-planned hard work doesn't guarantee success, but it does deliver meaning. Since that time, Scott moved from Pittsburgh to Atlanta after college. Scott spent a few years in the investment and contracting world before "falling into" the procurement/SCM space. With three decades of practitioner experience, he worked his way up from front line supervision to the C-Suite. He cofounded Qomo Institute (formerly CalStrat Consulting) in 2010, where he traveled the State of Georgia for consulting and educational projects. His region quickly expanded to the continental US, and then in 2019, he was offered the opportunity to grow into the EMEA region.
Since then, he has traveled to many European countries and the GCC region for business deliveries. Scott is mission-focused on educating organizations and professionals on best-practiced strategies. He views his role as important in imparting his knowledge to the future of this world, believing that education is a vital western export — especially to our great friends and partners in the Middle East. Scott considers this his highest calling, and his greatest privilege; and they love him doing so!
