Nick Britton is a leader in Protiviti's Technology Consulting practice with deep expertise advising organizations on cybersecurity strategy. His career blends hands-on technical assessment experience with strategic advisory work, enabling him to help clients understand complex cyber threats and translate them into practical, business-aligned risk reduction actions. Nick's technical background has proven essential in supporting large enterprises through complex transformation and post-acquisition integration efforts. In these engagements, his ability to interpret technical findings, assess risks and guide the design of scalable security programs has been key to strengthening enterprise-wide capabilities. Additionally, Nick leads Protiviti's Attack & Penetration initiatives, where he defines testing methodology and develops solutions to support organizations in performing assessments and building strategy – including red teaming and attack simulation, penetration testing and ransomware readiness.
Nick holds an MBA in Data Analytics from Southern Methodist University and a BBA in Management Information Systems from Baylor University. He was previously an elected member of CREST Americas Council and holds both the Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certifications.
