Michael is a Catalant consultant and the Founder and Principal of Synaptic Supply Chain, a consulting firm focused on enabling companies to create value through the better use of data in their supply chains. Prior to Synaptic, Michael led the supply chain AI offering globally for BCG, driving innovation at the intersection of BCG's "X" technical capability and its Operations Practice to secure BCG's leadership in this market. Previously, Michael held leadership roles at a "decision intelligence" AI platform company, Aera Technology, and within supply chain and technology functions at Koch Industries.
The last 8+ years of his career have focused exclusively on the intersection of advanced technology and supply chain performance improvement; however, supply chain has been a critical component throughout Michael's roles in the 10+ years prior. Whether it was managing the bull-whip effect as a product planner at Nissan or leading strategy consulting engagements for the top global 3PL, Michael brings a comprehensive and business-first perspective when advising clients on overcoming supply chain challenges.
Michael studied supply chain and decision analytics during his MBA at UVA's Darden School of Business and holds a Certificate of Supply Chain Executive Training from Georgia Tech's Scheller College of Business.
