Jimmy Leppert is the Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Empactful Advisors, a boutique advisory firm that partners with executives to shape strategy and lead through execution. A strategy execution, growth, and business turnaround expert, Jimmy works with leadership teams to drive alignment and speed by accelerating their most critical strategic priorities. Initiatives he has led have delivered over $1.6 billion in employee-led, incremental revenue and cost enhancements.
Prior to co-founding Empactful Advisors, Jimmy served as a Managing Director at Kotter International, the strategy execution firm founded by Harvard professor John Kotter, where he led the firm's largest and most complex global engagements. Before Kotter, he was a researcher and consultant at MIT's Sloan School of Management, serving as Chief of Staff to systems thinking pioneer Peter Senge. Over 13 years, Jimmy has worked with some of the most recognized corporate, non-profit, and government leaders worldwide. His clients include Boeing, Chevron, ExxonMobil, Starbucks, Unilever, and Walmart.
He is a recognized thought leader with published articles, guest lectures at Harvard and MIT, and keynote speeches for large audiences. Jimmy earned master's degrees from Harvard and the University of Virginia, where he also completed his undergraduate studies.
