The promotion will see Martinez lead and expand the firm's Team Effectiveness practice while advising senior executives on organizational and succession challenges.
Vantage Leadership Consulting has named Jasmin Martinez, Ph.D., as the newest member of the firm's partnership group. Based in Chicago, Martinez will take on an expanded role focused on leading and growing the firm's Team Effectiveness practice.
In her capacity as partner, Martinez will continue to advise senior executives and leadership teams on a variety of organizational and succession-related issues. Her responsibilities include shaping client strategy, deepening executive relationships, and mentoring the firm's consulting staff to support overall firm growth.
Since joining Vantage in 2017, Martinez has built a specialized practice in individual assessment, coaching, talent development, and team engagement. Her approach is informed by her academic research in social and industrial-organizational psychology, with a particular focus on team dynamics, power and status in the workplace, and the development of underrepresented leaders.

Jacqueline Ackerman, Ph.D., managing partner at Vantage, noted that Martinez possesses an exceptional ability to help leadership teams tackle difficult challenges with clarity and honesty. "She combines deep expertise in organizational psychology with a practical understanding of what drives performance and trust inside organizations," Ackerman said.
Martinez earned her doctorate in industrial-organizational psychology from Northern Illinois University, where she also served as a lecturer and laboratory manager. Her research in the field has been presented at various national conferences.
