Catalant, the creator of the "Consulting 2.0" model and a provider of flexible consulting solutions, has appointed Christina Spade as its new Chief Financial Officer. Spade, a veteran of several Fortune 500 media and technology companies, joins the Boston-based firm as it seeks to accelerate its expansion within the Global 1000 market.

In her new role, Spade will oversee the firm's entire finance organization, including financial planning and analysis, forecasting, treasury, capital strategy, and investor relations. She is tasked with building the financial infrastructure necessary to support Catalant's long-term growth and its mission to provide agile, fit-to-purpose consulting services through its proprietary platform.

Pat Petitti, CEO of Catalant, noted that the consulting industry is currently at an "inflection point," with business leaders increasingly seeking faster, more cost-effective alternatives to traditional high-cost firms. "To scale what we've built, we needed a CFO who's done this before, someone who brings financial rigor without losing sight of the need to invest in innovation," Petitti said.

Spade brings more than 25 years of experience to the position, having previously held C-suite roles at Showtime Networks, CBS Corporation, Paramount Global, and AMC Networks. Most recently, she served as Founder and Value Creation Partner at Alexun Advisory. Her background includes deep expertise in strategic planning, talent management, and scaling enterprise commercial models.

"I'm a builder at heart, and I've spent my career helping ambitious companies grow with financial discipline and strategic clarity," Spade stated regarding her appointment. She highlighted Catalant's "proven platform" and "market tailwind" as key drivers for the company's potential to achieve compounded growth.

The appointment follows the recent addition of Mauricio Monico as Chief Product Officer, signaling a broader effort by the firm to strengthen the leadership team responsible for its next phase of expansion. Catalant continues to invest in AI-powered infrastructure to meet rising enterprise demand for more flexible and transparent consulting engagements.
