Specialist procurement and supply chain consultancy Efficio has appointed Jonathan Rutman as its new head of business development for North America. The strategic hire is intended to strengthen the firm's growth across the region and bolster its support for a growing client base.

In his new role, Rutman will focus on accelerating Efficio's presence in North America. He is tasked with working closely with large multinational corporations and private equity firms that are seeking to generate enterprise value through optimized procurement and supply chain operations.

Rutman joins the firm with more than 20 years of experience partnering with senior executives. His career has focused on leveraging procurement functions to support critical corporate priorities. Prior to joining Efficio, he held various senior leadership roles within Big Four consulting and advisory firms.

"Jonathan's appointment reflects our continued investment in North America and our commitment to supporting clients as they face increasingly complex procurement and supply chain challenges," said Patrick Traynor, Efficio vice president and North American lead.
Traynor noted that Rutman's deep functional experience, combined with a track record of designing initiatives aligned with strategic goals, will be a significant asset. "His ability to design and deliver initiatives... will enable our clients to realize and sustain measurable results," Traynor added.

The appointment comes as Efficio, which identifies as the world's largest specialist procurement consultancy, continues to scale its operations to meet demand from organizations navigating global supply disruptions and cost pressures.
