Dr. Ghosh will focus on connecting technology, operations, and human-centered strategy to help public sector clients navigate AI adoption and digital transformation.

Global professional services firm RGP has announced the promotion of Dr. Roshni Ghosh to the role of Public Sector Industry Leader. Based in Washington, D.C., Dr. Ghosh will report to Scott Rottmann, President of Consulting Services, as the firm expands its efforts to bring commercial-sector consulting expertise to government and public institutions.
In her new role, Dr. Ghosh is tasked with addressing the mounting pressure on public sector organizations to modernize service delivery. Her remit includes helping clients embrace artificial intelligence, transform legacy technology environments, and strengthen cybersecurity frameworks. The firm aims to bridge the gap between commercial innovation and the unique regulatory and operational constraints inherent in the public sector.
"Roshni is uniquely positioned to translate commercial capabilities into mission-focused solutions and lead our expansion," said Rottmann. He noted that from defense to healthcare, public sector institutions are grappling with the fundamental question of how to modernize systems built for a different era to meet the demands of a rapidly changing world.
Dr. Ghosh joined RGP in 2025 as Federal Chief Growth Officer, bringing over 20 years of experience across health IT, clinical informatics, and government transformation. She previously served in several senior leadership roles at the Veterans Health Administration, including Executive Director for the Center for Care and Payment Innovation. In that role, she led initiatives to improve operational performance and access for veterans, specifically addressing issues such as homelessness.
In addition to her clinical and growth leadership, Dr. Ghosh has held multiple Chief Medical Information Officer (CMIO) roles throughout her career. She holds an MD from Rutgers University School of Medicine and an MPH from Columbia University's Mailman School of Public Health. Her work was recently recognized at the 2026 Forum Disruptive Tech Summit, where she was named a Change Agent Winner.
"The public sector has always been capable of extraordinary impact," said Dr. Ghosh. "The opportunity now is to pair that mission with innovation, modern capabilities, and a more integrated approach to solving complex problems. I'm excited to advance RGP's work at the intersection of technology, transformation, and human-centered strategy."
