Kamil Burkhanov
Rising Star Honoree - Pro Bono & Social Impact

Kamil Burkhanov is a Germany-based strategy consultant and NGO Partnerships Lead at Arthur D. Little, where he has transformed ad hoc pro bono into an evidence-based portfolio focused on high-leverage climate NGOs. A physicist by training (BSc, Alferov University) with an MSc in Technology Entrepreneurship (MIPT), Kamil brings analytical rigor to social impact. He began his career at PwC Advisory, advising universities on research and education strategy that unlocked multimillion-dollar grant funding. At ADL, he supported clients across the energy transition, including advising a fusion-energy startup on its Series A, among other projects. In this role, Kamil designed the high-impact NGO partnerships program and a scaling model that doubled ADL's pro bono budget and converted one-offs into multi-project partnerships. Recent work includes an Africa/MENA expansion strategy for a climate think tank and supervising the Good Food Institute's precision-fermentation prioritization to accelerate scale-up of high-value molecules. An active contributor to the Consultants for Impact community, Kamil shares playbooks and mentors peers. He is committed to channeling strategy tools toward the world's most effective climate solutions globally.
