The 2026 Rising Stars of the Profession: Josh Rowe

Joshua Rowe was born on the vibrant island of Barbados and moved to New York City at age seven, cultivating a dynamic multicultural perspective that continues to shape how he sees the world. Joshua played multiple sports in high school, including basketball and soccer, fostering a strong sense of teamwork, discipline and strategic thinking. He attended Syracuse University, initially embarking on a pre-physical therapy track. This early academic path instilled in him a deep understanding of complex biological processes, systems thinking and analytical rigor, skills which proved to be instrumental when he ultimately decided to focus on Information Management and Technology.

Beyond his professional and academic pursuits, Joshua is deeply committed to community service, volunteering at the Food Bank of NYC, the Salvation Army and the RSPCA, reflecting his desire to contribute positively to society through servant leadership. He joined EPAM in the summer of 2021 after completing the firm's highly selective process for its ABACUS program. Through rapid promotions, he now serves as a Lead Consulting Analyst within the Transformation practice. This affords him the opportunity to pursue challenging engagements where he can leverage his diverse background and strategic mindset to drive impactful solutions for clients.
