The 2026 Rising Stars of the Profession: Joe Macaluso

Joe Macaluso is a Director of Strategy and Performance Solutions with 12+ years of experience in business process improvement, workforce planning, data analytics and organizational assessment. Early in his career, Joe built a strong foundation in process improvement by leading BPMN-based workflow redesign, Lean Six Sigma initiatives, and operational analytics for major health care, financial services, insurance, and global retail organizations. His early work focused on identifying inefficiencies, designing automation ready processes, and developing KPI frameworks that improved quality and reduced operating costs.

At Eagle Hill, Joe has expanded this expertise across government, nonprofit and commercial clients. He has served as a project manager, subject matter expert, and solutionist leader on complex operational engagements, including large scale FDA assessments and enterprise process improvement initiatives. His technical capabilities include advanced analytics, data modeling, business intelligence design, process mapping, and automation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, SAP, UiPath and Power Automate. Joe advises teams across sectors, strengthens firmwide BPI capability, contributes to solution design, and shares insights through thought leadership on process improvement and emerging technologies. He holds a B.A. from the University of Houston and Global Business and Entrepreneurship certifications through the Honors College and Bauer Global Studies Program.
