Caroline Golmon-Hernandez

Caroline is a member of the Healthcare Performance Improvement service line. She has more than six years of experience in mid-revenue cycle with a focus on coding and documentation compliance and clinical revenue integrity. She frequently performs coding and documentation assessments for large health care organizations including FQHCs, rural health centers, critical access hospitals and behavioral health systems. In addition, she leverages her knowledge of data analytics to assist clients in HIM departmental assessments. With her success in departmental assessments, she assists clients in performance improvement implementations to help drive revenue-centric initiatives.
Prior to joining Forvis Mazars, Caroline began her career with a large clinical staffing and revenue cycle management company where she obtained experience in claims processing, process improvement, data analysis, ICD-10-CM coding, AMA HCPCS CPT coding, insurance provider rules and regulations, and revenue cycle procedures. She is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and AHIMA. She is a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) and a Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR). Caroline is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University, Ruston, with a B.S. degree in health informatics and information management.
