Helen Leis, Global Head of Leadership and Change, Oliver Wyman.

In the newly created position, Leis will lead the firm's efforts to embed change management capabilities across its global practices while continuing her role as Co-Head of M&A Americas.

Global management consulting firm Oliver Wyman has appointed Helen Leis as its first Global Head of Leadership and Change. In this newly created role, Leis will focus on guiding clients through periods of significant uncertainty and complex organizational transformations.

Leis will take on the new responsibilities while maintaining her current position as Co-Head of M&A Americas for the firm. The appointment comes as organizations face rapid shifts driven by emerging technologies, volatile economic conditions, and evolving workforce expectations. The firm's Leadership and Change practice aims to help clients develop the operating models and leadership skills necessary to navigate this complexity and translate strategy into sustained action.

"This role is key to advancing the firm's long-term efforts to embed transformative leadership and change management capabilities across all our work, driving greater alignment, collaboration and impact," said Nick Studer, President and CEO of Oliver Wyman. "Helen brings an outstanding combination of expertise, leadership, and empathy to help clients overcome some of the toughest challenges in business."

With more than three decades of experience, Leis has a deep background in advising organizations on large-scale transformation, integration, and cultural change programs across various industries. Her mandate involves working across the firm's various practices to identify potential leadership hurdles and develop pragmatic tools to help clients thrive amid disruption.

"I've spent three decades working with leaders navigating mergers, crises, and cultural overhauls," Leis stated. "The leaders who succeed aren't those who avoid that tension, but those who use it to help their organizations grow. When that happens, change stops being disruptive, and starts becoming a source of strength."
