Radhika Ray, Chief Operating Officer, CFGI.
The former transformation leader and private equity executive is tasked with scaling global operations for the accounting and business advisory firm.
CFGI, a Boston-based accounting and business advisory firm, has appointed former McKinsey & Company Partner Radhika Ray as its new Chief Operating Officer. The move brings a seasoned transformation and private equity operations executive into the firm's leadership as it focuses on global expansion.
Ray joins CFGI from McKinsey, where she was a Partner in the Transformation practice. In that role, she worked with leadership teams in the financial services, technology, and consumer sectors on large-scale performance initiatives. Before her time at McKinsey, Ray was a Private Equity Operating Executive at Cerberus Capital Management, holding senior operational leadership positions within the firm's portfolio companies.
In her new role as COO, Ray will be responsible for scaling CFGI's global operations. Her mandate includes leveraging AI and technology to enhance the firm's internal processes and client service delivery. She will also focus on talent development and expanding the firm's market presence. CFGI, a portfolio company of private equity firms Carlyle and CVC, currently has over 1,200 employees across more than 30 offices globally.
According to a statement from co-CEOs Shane Caiazzo and Nick Nardone, Ray's appointment is central to the firm's growth strategy, particularly in deepening its relationships with private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies. Her background aligns directly with this focus, combining experience from a major management consulting firm and a private equity investor.
"CFGI has built something rare in this industry: genuine credibility with companies and investors we serve, a team that delivers at the highest level, and a platform with real runway to grow," said Ray in a statement. "I am excited to work with the leadership team to take CFGI into its next chapter."
