Lily Hu is a Finance professional with almost 20 years of experience in financial process re-engineering, SOX control, US GAPP/IFRS reporting and business intelligence. She has led finance modernization, ERP implementations, and enterprise architecture evaluation programs for insurance, financial services/banking, and technology industries. Lily is an active CPA and a licensed implementation specialist for major ERP software. She started her career as an IBM mainframe administrator before she found an interest in finance. She has double majors in Information Management & Accounting and an MBA in Finance.

Her rare combination of technical and finance skills allows her to collaborate more effectively with both CIOs and CFOs. She often works as a liaison between the two C-suite leaders to help them identify opportunities to reimagine their business by leveraging technology, aligning their priorities, and delivering solutions with the right balance for enabling innovation and ensuring financial stability and cost control. Lily is also a domain expert in insurance finance. She has in-depth knowledge in IFRS17, reinsurance, Solvency II, actuarial, yellow/blue book, IBNR/earning/profit share/Reinsurance automation, bordereaux, LPT/Intercompany inflictions, MGA and insurance ERP solutions. She has led insurance projects for the U.S., UK/Lloyd’s and EU markets.
