Deal for the Greece-based firm is aimed at strengthening EY's capabilities in clinical, regulatory, and commercial services for global pharmaceutical and biotech clients.
EY has announced the acquisition of Aqurance, a consulting partner specializing in services for the Veeva technology platform within the life sciences sector. The move is designed to expand EY's ability to deliver digital transformation programs for pharmaceutical and biotech companies worldwide.
Aqurance, headquartered in Greece, holds designations as a Premier Services Partner for Veeva Commercial Cloud and a Services Partner for Veeva Development Cloud. The firm's expertise lies in application consulting across Veeva's Commercial and Research and Development (R&D) applications. This acquisition will integrate Aqurance’s technical experience with Veeva Vault and other applications into EY’s broader consulting services, which include regulatory compliance, business design and technology integration.
The combination is expected to enhance EY's Veeva Centers of Excellence, providing clients with more comprehensive support for platform integration and migration, particularly for those moving to Vault CRM. The stated goal is to help life sciences organizations better manage customer engagement, maintain regulatory compliance and accelerate clinical trial execution.
"This is a pivotal moment for the industry as life sciences companies make critical decisions about platform migration, compliance and data integration," said Dan Mathews, EY Global Life Sciences Leader. "With the acquisition of Aqurance, the EY organization can offer clients a more integrated pathway — strategy through execution — to unlock the full power of Veeva technology."
For Aqurance, the acquisition provides an opportunity to scale its services globally by leveraging EY's extensive reach. "The EY organization brings the scale, global reach and credibility that allows our knowledge to make a far greater impact," said Dionissis Nikolopoulos, Founder & CEO at Aqurance. "By combining Aqurance's deep Veeva knowledge with the EY organization's transformation capabilities, we can help clients achieve outcomes they cannot provide alone."
Following the acquisition, the combined entity, referred to as EY Aqurance, is scheduled to appear as a platinum sponsor at the Veeva Commercial Summit in Madrid November 5-6, 2025.
