Appointment of Tony Ward signals the strategic delivery consultancy's focused effort to expand its retail and consumer goods services in the region.
Newton, a strategic delivery consultancy, has appointed Tony Ward as a Senior Partner in its consumer goods and retail team. Based in Chicago, Ward will be responsible for spearheading the firm's expansion across North America
The move is part of a broader build-out of Newton's consumer practice this year. The firm appointed Wil Schoenmakers as Global Head of Retail and Consumer Goods in February, followed by the hiring of Harmen van Or as a Consumer Goods Partner in July. Ward's appointment completes a trio of senior hires intended to establish a stronger foothold in the competitive North American market.
Ward brings over 30 years of industry experience to the role. He joins Newton from Ernst and Young, where he was a Partner in the consumer sector and served as the North America Supply Chain Leader for Retail. His prior experience includes roles as Managing Director for Retail Strategy at Accenture and Senior Partner for North America retail and consumer products at Kurt Salmon Associates.
