Hayley Watson, Director, FRP Advisory.

Hayley Watson, a 20-year insolvency practitioner, joins the advisory firm as an Appointment-Taking Director to support its continued expansion across East Anglia.

Business advisory firm FRP has appointed Hayley Watson as an Appointment-Taking Director in its Norwich office, a move intended to strengthen the firm's restructuring services in the East Anglia region.

Watson joins FRP from McTear Williams & Wood, where she spent two decades, most recently serving as a board director. She is a licensed insolvency practitioner with experience in a range of corporate and personal insolvency processes, including Creditors’ Voluntary Liquidations, Company Voluntary Arrangements, and Bankruptcies. Watson also serves as the eastern region chair for the restructuring trade association R3.

In her new role, Watson will work with FRP Partner Richard Bloomfield to continue the expansion of the firm's regional restructuring practice. The appointment comes during a period of significant growth for FRP in East Anglia. The firm's Norwich team has expanded from a single member in late 2022 to a team of nine.

“Hayley is one of the most respected insolvency practitioners in the region," stated Bloomfield, Partner at FRP. "Her technical expertise, long-standing experience and strong professional network make her a hugely valuable addition to our team."

FRP's national network includes over 900 employees. The firm has been involved in several high-profile UK restructuring cases, including those for The Body Shop, Debenhams, Prezzo, and Poundland.

"Joining FRP gives me the opportunity to draw on this experience within a firm that combines regional insight with national reach and resources, helping to deliver a significant impact for the businesses we serve,” said Watson.
