Acquisition integrates the Vancouver, Washington-based firm's expertise in commercial and industrial property tax minimization into DMA's national service offerings.

Corporate tax services firm DuCharme, McMillen & Associates, Inc. (DMA) has acquired Tax Advisors, PLLC, a firm specializing in property tax advisory services. The move is intended to expand DMA’s property tax capabilities and extend its client service reach across the United States and Canada.

Based in Vancouver, Washington, Tax Advisors was founded in 2000 and focuses on property tax minimization and cost segregation studies. The firm’s client base includes hotels, senior living facilities, retail centers, and other types of commercial real estate.

The integration of Tax Advisors is part of DMA's stated growth strategy, aimed at deepening its expertise within the property tax sector. The deal provides DMA with a stronger national presence and allows the combined client base to access a broader range of services.

“This acquisition furthers our commitment to delivering unmatched property tax expertise to our clients,” said Dan Hutmacher, CEO of DMA. “Tax Advisors brings a high level of specialized expertise and a strong reputation in the property tax arena. By integrating their capabilities into our national platform, we’re not only expanding our geographic reach, but we’re also deepening the value we deliver to clients through enhanced insights.”

Greg Damico, Managing Member and founder of Tax Advisors, commented on the benefits for his firm's clients and staff. “Joining forces with DMA enables us to provide our clients with expanded services and resources, while continuing the personalized approach and specialized expertise they have come to expect,” Damico stated. “We are excited about the opportunities this partnership creates for both our clients and our employees.”
