Each year, we invest in “People Excellence” goals, using employee input to shape culture and the employee journey. We conduct surveys and hold focused discussion sessions, and leaders hold ongoing one-on-one meetings with consultants to support their growth. Moreover, we foster personalized connections with each employee to understand their interests and facilitate their professional path.
CMAG: In describing your firm, what would you say sets it apart from other consulting firms?
CompassX combines the sophistication of top-tier consulting with the authenticity and connection of a smaller firm. Every consultant participates in monthly mentorship check-ins and quarterly career discussions to ensure alignment between client work and personal goals. We also sponsor social events to create a sense of belonging.
CMAG: Where your workforce is concerned, what would you say your priorities look like for the upcoming year and beyond?
Our priorities are centered on growth and opportunity. We are actively maturing and adding to our service catalog. Equally important, we are committed to preserving our company culture and core values as we grow.
CMAG: What opportunities do you see as the most promising?
We see tremendous opportunity in helping clients responsibly deploy AI, leverage marketing technology to unlock customer insights, and mature data-driven decision-making. Our size allows us to be agile and adapt quickly to client needs while providing hands-on leadership in areas where the market is moving fast.
CMAG: What market forces do you see as the most challenging?
Large, global firms often dominate brand recognition and procurement channels. For a boutique firm like CompassX, earning the right to compete for new opportunities is always a challenge. At the same time, it creates opportunities to differentiate. Many clients are looking for specialized partners who can deliver results without unnecessary layers of bureaucracy. That is where CompassX excels.
CMAG: What impact do you think Best Firm to Work For honors will have on your employees? The firm overall? Clients?
This award is a meaningful recognition of the effort our team has put into building and sustaining our culture. For employees, it is validation that their contributions and ideas have shaped CompassX into what it is today.
