Deal folds WP&C into Huron's Commercial segment, adding about 30 consultants and complexity-management frameworks to bolster Innosight-led strategy and execution.

Global professional services firm Huron has announced that it has acquired Wilson Perumal & Company (WP&C), a strategy and operations consulting firm. Terms were not disclosed.

The acquisition builds on the capabilities of Huron's Innosight strategy and innovation team. By integrating WP&C, Huron aims to combine its business transformation services with WP&C's focus on operationalizing strategy and reducing organizational complexity for clients.

"This acquisition represents the next evolution of our Innosight team's strategy and innovation capabilities," said Mark Hussey, Huron's CEO and president. He said the combination will better position the firm to help clients navigate disruption in a rapidly changing market.

About 30 WP&C employees will join Huron. WP&C serves clients across industrials and manufacturing, energy and utilities, consumer products, private equity and the public sector. The firm has developed proprietary frameworks aimed at improving efficiency and profitability. For reporting purposes, WP&C will be included in Huron's Commercial operating segment.

"With Huron's global scale and reach, we can bring our methodologies to more clients than ever before," said Stephen Wilson, managing partner and co-founder of WP&C.

"We have long believed that meaningful transformation happens when strategy, operations and execution are deeply aligned," said Andrei Perumal, managing partner and co-founder of WP&C. "Together with Huron's Innosight team, we will scale that belief and deliver impact more broadly."

Both firms were named to Consulting Magazine's 2025 Best Firms to Work For - Huron in the large firms category and WP&C in the boutique category. The rankings are based on consultants' responses to a survey covering six areas of employee satisfaction: culture, career development, work-life balance, client engagement, compensation and benefits, and firm leadership.
