The deal will see The DRG become a division of the strategy consultancy, aiming to provide clients with integrated services from data analysis to experience transformation.
Cortico-X, a strategy and transformation consultancy, has announced a merger with The DRG, a marketing insights and analytics firm. Under the agreement, The DRG will operate as a division within Cortico-X, retaining its current name and team.
The merger is intended to bridge the gap between data collection and strategic execution. By combining The DRG's expertise in customer, brand and employee analytics with Cortico-X's focus on experience transformation, the new entity aims to offer clients a more integrated service that connects raw data to business outcomes.
"Organizations are overwhelmed with data but still struggle to act on it," said Sujay Saha, Founder and President of Cortico-X. “Together with The DRG, we’re changing that, connecting the dots between what customers say, what they need and how brands deliver. It’s about providing seamless, integrated intelligence that powers better decisions, faster and with more confidence.”
The combined firm plans to expand its presence in the health care and financial services sectors. The integration of analytics and consulting disciplines is also positioned to help clients modernize their insight delivery systems and prepare for broader AI implementation across customer and employee experience functions.
“Joining forces with Cortico-X allows us to invest in innovation, expand our impact and keep delivering the thoughtful, strategic insights our clients trust—now with greater speed and scale,” said Lanie Johnson, President and CEO of The DRG
The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The companies expect the integration to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2025, stating that all current client projects will continue without interruption.
