Founded by a KPMG alum, firm will offer fiduciary and consulting services in London and the Cayman Islands, targeting investment management and growth-stage companies.

A new consultancy, Daymer Group, has launched with operations in London and the Cayman Islands, focusing on providing fiduciary and consulting services to the investment management sector and growth-stage companies. The firm announced it begins operations with over 20 corporate clients, which collectively represent more than $10 billion in assets under management.

Daymer Group's service model is structured around two main client types. For the investment management industry, it will provide services for funds, structured products and special purpose vehicles. For growth-stage companies, the firm will offer consultants and fractional C-suite executives, a model intended to help companies scale without the administrative overhead of hiring permanent senior staff. At its launch, the firm's team consists of eight directors and consultants.

The consultancy is founded by Richard Scott-Hopkins, a Chartered Accountant with over two decades of experience in financial services. Scott-Hopkins was formerly an audit and advisory partner at KPMG and most recently worked in a governance, risk and compliance role at Centralis. He is joined by a leadership team that includes Grant Harding, a former Principal Finance at Amazon Business with an MBA from MIT, and General Counsel Katrina West, who previously served as in-house funds General Counsel at a multi-billion private credit firm and has held positions at Brevan Howard and Horizon Asset Management.

In a statement, Scott-Hopkins commented on the firm's positioning, stating, “There is a demand for a credible, nimble alternative to the established consultancies, concentrating on key disciplines of premium fiduciary and management consultancy.” He added that the firm plans to expand its global footprint and service offerings in the near future.
