Atlanta-based advisory and accounting firm Frazier & Deeter has acquired Anglin Reichmann Armstrong, P.C., a firm with offices in Huntsville, Alabama, and Pensacola and Winter Haven, Florida. The move expands Frazier & Deeter’s footprint in the Southeastern U.S. and adds specialized service lines to its portfolio.
The acquisition connects Frazier & Deeter's existing offices in Atlanta, Tampa and Nashville, creating a more cohesive regional presence across the Southeast. For a firm focused on growth, this deal provides an immediate and significant entry into the government contracting (GovCon) sector, a core specialty of Anglin, particularly in its Huntsville location, a major center for defense and aerospace industries.
"For more than three decades, Anglin has built a strong reputation for fostering client trust, delivering technical excellence and cultivating a people-first culture, particularly in the government contracting and construction industries,” said Seth McDaniel, Partner and CEO of Frazier & Deeter. "Their entrepreneurial mindset integrates seamlessly with our firm’s values."
In addition to GovCon and construction, the acquisition brings in established practices in Client Accounting & Advisory Services (CAAS) and HR Consulting. These capabilities will be integrated into Frazier & Deeter's broader advisory platform.
The two firms were already familiar with one another through their mutual membership in the CPAmerica network, a factor that likely smoothed the path to acquisition.
“Our firms have enjoyed a collaborative relationship for years through the CPAmerica network,” said Brandon Smith, who was the Managing Partner of Anglin. “Joining FD allows us to build on that partnership and unlock new opportunities for our clients and teams, supported by the extensive resources of a nationally recognized firm.”
Following the deal, Anglin Reichmann Armstrong will be fully integrated into Frazier & Deeter’s operations and will operate under the Frazier & Deeter brand. The combined firm will look to leverage its expanded scale and specialized expertise to pursue further growth in the region.
