Jonathan Hughes is National Managing Principal and Global Practice Leader for Management Consulting at BDO. He has 25 years of experience working with companies and state-owned enterprises across a range of industries in North and South America, Europe, Asia, Australia and Africa, with a focus on growth strategies, initiating and responding to disruptive competition, negotiation strategies and tactics, external innovation and supply chain transformation. Before BDO, Jonathan was a Partner and Board Chair at Vantage Partners. During his tenure there, Jonathan helped lead the firm’s growth from founding to over $20 million in annual revenue; building the firm’s corporate strategy practice and sourcing and supply chain practice. During his first year as leader of BDO’s Management Consulting practice, Jonathan led the U.S. business to topline revenue growth of 16% while reducing write-offs by 95%; and increased average billing yield by 21%, gross contribution margin by 105%, and EBITDA by 1048%. He also stood up a new sourcing and supply chain practice, and led the acquisition of Blue Beyond Consulting, a firm specializing in leadership, change management and human capital strategy. As global leader for Management Consulting, Jonathan steered BDO’s global network of management consulting practices to topline growth of 32%.
